Quincy University junior Erin Gregory (St. Louis, Mo./Incarnate Word Academy) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Player of the Week.
Gregory, the Hawks rightfielder helped her team to a 4-0 record over the weekend. On the week, she hit .538 with four RBIs, three runs scored, two doubles and two homeruns, posting an impressive slugging percentage of 1.154.
In Quincy’s sweep over Upper Iowa on Saturday, Gregory was 4-for-6 with two RBIs, a double and homerun.
She returned Sunday to go 3-fo-7 with two RBIs, a double and homerun against Rockhurst. Gregory was 2-for-3 in the first game with a double. She completed the day with a 2-run home run in the 12-4 game two victory.
On the year, Gregory is hitting .393 with 17 RBIs and a .786 slugging percentage.
Quincy (12-7) is 4-2 in GLVC play will host Lincoln and Illinois-Springfield this week before traveling to Bellarmine on Saturday.
Other top performers in GLVC last week included Northern Kentucky’s Rose Broderick, Maryville’s Kristen Bray, Lewis’ Stephanie Harmon, Missouri-St. Louis’ Heather Arras, Rockhurst’s Lindsay Williams, Illinois-Springfield’s Brooke Carroll, Indianapolis’ Carmen Martinez and Drury’s Sadie Ball.
