Missouri S&T’s David Huskisson (Kirksville, MO.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. The sophomore led the Minersto a second-place finish at the Southwest Baptist Twilight this past Friday.
Huskisson finished the 5K course with a time of 15:58.67 to earn his second place finish. Missouri S&T had three other runners finish in the top ten.
The Miners finished with a total of 36 points in the meet, eight points behind Southwest Baptist for the team title. S&T finished ahead of Drury, who ended with 75 points.
The Miners will next compete in the Southern Stampede at Missouri Southern on Friday.
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Drury’s Steven Busch, Lewis’s Ross Ochs and Maryville’s Travis Blalock.
