Lewis University’s Kathryn Hague (Chicago, Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Hague, a senior runner for the Flyers, was among a group of finishers for the Lewis cross country team at the Wisconsin Classic on Friday, an event which featured mostly Division I competition.
Hague placed ninth overall in the 4k race and finished with a time of 14:55.
Her efforts helped the Flyers post a team score of 122, good for fifth place at the event. Northwestern won the meet and finished with 23 points.
Lewis will return to action at the National Catholic Invitational on Friday.
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Maryville’s Justine Seidel.
