St. Joseph’s Alexis DeJean (Brownsburg, Ind., Brownsburg) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

DeJean, a senior, led the way for the Pumas at the IWU Invite this past weekend. She finished with NCAA Provisional Marks in both the weight throw and the shot put. In the weight throw, she threw for 16.34 meters, which distanced the competition by over a meter. DeJean followed up her performance, by throwing a distance of 13.58 meters in the shot put.
