Indianapolis’ Matt Royer is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. 

Royer, a senior, led the way again for the Greyhounds in the weight throw and shot put at the IWU Invitational this past weekend. He improved upon his NCAA qualifying mark in the weight throw with a toss of 18.95 meters. Royer led the field in the shot put, finishing with a toss of 15.84 meters. Royer is first among GLVC competitors in the weight throw and the shot put.  
 
Indianapolis will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Bloominington, Ind. to compete in the IU Hoosier Invitational.
