Southern Indiana’s Dustin Emerick (Elmwood, IL. / Elmwood) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week .

Emerick, a junior, led the Eagles at the Indiana Relays this past weekend. He ran the 5000 meter run in 14:28.66, to finish fifth overall. This time ranks Emerick fourth on the current NCAA Division II list and fourth in the USI Indoor record books.  

Southern Indiana will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Bloominington, Ind. to compete in the IU Hoosier Invitational.
