St. Joseph’s Alexis DeJean (Brownsburg, Ind./ Brownsburg) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

DeJean, a senior, helped the Pumas to an 11th place finish this past weekend at the DII Challenge. She finished third in the shot put, with a Provisional mark of 13.42m. DeJean followed up her performance with a 7th place finish in the weight throw, improving her National mark to 16.99m.   

 

The Pumas will travel to Allendale, Mich. on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Grand Valley State Big Meet.
