Southern Indiana’s Dustin Emerick (Elmwood, Ill. / Elmwood) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 

Emerick, a junior, finished in fourth-place in the 5,000m at the Grand Valley State Big Meet this past weekend. His time of 14:23.61 was a NCAA Provisional qualifying time. He is currently ranked 12th on the NCAA Division II national list. 

Southern Indiana returns to action Feb. 25-26 when they will compete in the GLVC Indoor Championships in Somers, WI.
