Bellarmines’ Brian Gennett (Indianapolis, IN. / Lawrence Central) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. 

Gennett, a junior, led the way for the Knights at the IU Hoosier Hills Open this past weekend. He posted a jump of 15-5.75 in the pole vault, which leads the GLVC. His mark came up three inches short of NCAA qualifying, but remains one of the nation’s top 25 Division II efforts. 

 

Bellarmine is back in action on Friday when they travel to Angola, Ind. to compete in the Trine University Invitational.
