Lewis’ Emily Keene (Hebron, IN / Boone Grove) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Keene, a sophomore, helped lead the Flyers to a second-place finish at North Central’s Cardinal Classic this past Friday.   She finished in second-place in the weight throw, which a heave of 14.32m. This was a personal best for Keene and moved her up to fifth in the GLVC. 

Lewis will travel to Kenosha, WI. this weekend to compete in the GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships, which is being hosted by UW-Parkside.
