Indianapolis’ Matt Royer is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Royer, a senior, competed at the IWU Polar Bear Invitational this past weekend.  In the Hammer throw, Royer threw a NCAA Provisional mark of 58.00m to win the event.  His performance in the Hammer throw is the best among GLVC competitors.  Royer also finished within the top 12 in the Discus throw.
