University of Southern Indiana’s Dustin Emerick (Elmwood, Ill. / Elmwood) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Emerick, a junior, helped lead the Eagles at the Washington University Invitational this past weekend. He finished in first-place in the 5,000m with a time of 14:31.91. Emerick currently ranks first in the GLVC and third nationally in this event.    

Southern Indiana will compete again on April 14th at the Mt. SAC Relays.
