Butler hit .591 in 22 plate appearances last week, recording 13 hits in six contests, including two games with three hits each. Of her 13 hits, she hit three doubles and two home runs that aided in her nine RBIs on the week. Opening the week at Maryville, Butler went 3-for-4 in the first contest with three RBIs and finished the series 4-for-6 with four RBIs. At Missouri S&T on Friday, she was 5-for-8 with a double and a home run, and then finished the week going 4-for-8 with a double and a home run and four RBIs at Drury on Saturday. Her homer against the Panthers gave her eight for the season, tying her for seventh all-time on the UMSL single-season charts. She is also tied for seventh on the RBI single-season charts with 37. In addition, Butler recorded just one strikeout in 22 at-bats and recorded 54 putouts and two assists with no errors in the field.
