Zenoni made four appearances on the mound for the Panthers last week and had a say in three of their four wins. In Tuesday’s doubleheader upset sweep of No. 13 Missouri S&T, Zenoni garnered the save in 1.1 innings of work in Drury’s 9-7 win in the opener. He then returned in the second game for another 1.1 innings, earning the win in a 4-3 victory. Zenoni spent the weekend at Illinois Springfield where he threw 1.1 innings on the mound for a no-decision in a 3-2 win. In Saturday’s opener at UIS, Zenoni appeared in relief with one out in the seventh inning to polish off the Prairie Stars and earn the save in the 6-4 outcome for Drury. On the week, Zenoni earned a win and two saves in 4.2 innings of work.
Winners of nine straight games, the Panthers sit atop the GLVC West Division at 14-4 and 21-9 overall.
