Pilackas hit .333 at the plate while helping UMSL to a season-best 5-1 GLVC record during the week, which pushed the Tritons up two spots to fifth in the GLVC West Division standings. He registered six hits this past week, five of which were for extra base, including three home runs and two doubles. He had four hits and all three home runs at William Jewell over the weekend, including two that came in the third game of the series. His second home run in Saturday’s 4-3 win came in the top of the ninth inning and proved to be the game-winner. It also gave him nine home runs on the season, which leads the GLVC and moved him into a six-way tie for fifth place on the UMSL single season charts. Pilackas finished the week with 17 total bases, five RBIs, four runs scores, and a slugging percentage of .944.
