Macias went 2-0 in the circle last week, surrendering no runs and just three hits in 14.0 innings to post two complete-game victories. Her final performance of the week was a career best, striking out five batters in a perfect game for a 5-0 victory over future GLVC foe McKendree. The perfect game was the first of her career and also marked her fifth consecutive win, fourth shutout of the season, and second straight blanking of the week. Macias opened the weekly slate with a 1-0 shutout against St. Joseph’s. She posted six strikeouts while allowing three hits and two walks in the win.
