Hall of Fame
Molly (Carter) Miller is the first representative of Drury University to be elected to the GLVC Hall of Fame, having etched her name among the greats in the history of the Lady Panthers’ storied basketball program. In her four seasons in the backcourt from 2004-08, she helped Drury to a 112-18 record, which included four postseason trips to the NCAA Championship, highlighted by an Elite Eight appearance in 2007. She guided DU to three GLVC West Division titles and the team’s first-ever GLVC Championship in 2008 – a season that saw her earn the conference’s Player of the Year distinction as well as the league’s prestigious Richard F. Scharf Paragon Award as Female Athlete of the Year. Miller was a member of the All-GLVC First Team as a junior and senior after picking up Honorable Mention recognition as a sophomore. That 2005-06 season was Drury’s first in the league and one in which the Lady Panthers finished regular season play with a 19-0 mark. Now in her second year as an assistant coach with the Lady Panthers, Miller ranks second all-time on the DU charts in scoring (1,570 points), assists (439) and steals (407).
