This year's youngest inductee, a 2006 graduate of Lewis, Robin (Martz) Hammer fills pages of the Flyer softball annals. She holds program records for career (.408) and single-season (.480, 2005) batting average, career (289) and single-season (82, 2004 & 2005) hits, and career total bases (356). Additionally, she holds various top-10 marks in multiple categories, including single season batting average (.453, 2nd, 2006); on-base percentage (.511, 2nd, 2005; .487, 6th, 2006); runs (53, 2nd, 2005; 48, 4th, 2006; 37, 10th, 2004); hits (81, 3rd, 2006); triples (5, 10th, 2005); total bases (103, 4th, 2004; 101, 5th, 2005; 99, 8th, 2006); and stolen bases (38, 3rd, 2005; 30, 5th, 2006; 21, 10th, 2004). Not only has she left a mark at Lewis, but in 2004 Hammer imprinted her name in the NCAA records book after recording a 35-game hitting streak, which ranks fifth highest in DII history. Postseason honors include three First Team All-GLVC nods in 2004, 2005, and 2006 while an Academic All-GLVC honoree four years straight (2003-06), including garnering GLVC Softball Player of the Year laurels in 2005. Hammer was a three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region performer (2004-06) and a NFCA First Team All-American in 2004 and 2005. Not only did she excel individually, but Hammer's success led to team achievements in 2004 and 2006 where the Flyers qualified for the NCAA Tournament Regional.
