Hall of Fame
The first-ever Bearcat GLVC Hall of Fame inductee, Wynn saw four years of success on the mat during his time at McKendree where he helped the Bearcats to a 59-24 (.711) overall record and 10-2 (.833) GLVC mark during his four years competing. The team also qualified for the D-II Championships all four years (2015-18), including the program’s best finish during that span with a fifth-place showing at the 2017 National dual, which preceded McKendree’s first GLVC Championship in 2018. Individually, Wynn accumulated a career record of 158-40, earning All-America honors all four seasons. His biggest achievement came in 2016 when he claimed the NCAA title in the 141-pound division, becoming the program’s first national champion, and followed that up with a pair of runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2018. He ranks second in program history in falls (41) and seventh in win percentage (.798). Following his athletic career, Wynn started as an assistant coach for Indian Hills Community College before accepting the same position with his current employer, Lindenwood University.
