ST. CHARLES, Mo.-The Maryville University volleyball team was swept in three straight sets, 25-16, 25-12 and 25-10 by Lindenwood University in a non-conference match Thursday night.
Junior Sandra Jara (Murrysville, Pa.) and sophomore Jordan Dietl (Washington, Mo.) paced the Saints with four kills each on the night.
Setter Andi Neff (St. Charles, Mo.) tallied 12 assists and added 11 digs to finish with a double-double.
Junior Samantha Bock (St. Louis) also finished with 11 digs in the match.
The Lions were led by Ellen Fandry's 10 kills and 10 digs.
Maryville returns to its home court after a two-week road swing Saturday when it hosts cross town rival, Missouri-St. Louis at 3 p.m.
