SOMERS, Wis. - The UW-Parkside women's soccer team scored early and often in a 9-0 conquest of Robert Morris (Lake County) at UWP Tuesday afternoon.
The Rangers scored just 43 seconds into the game and held a 4-0 advantage 10 minutes into the match.
Shannon Becker had the hat trick. She scored her seventh, eighth and ninth goals of the season.
Becky Zirlin and Kelly Teeters found the back of the net twice. Anat Flores and Meredith Novak also got into the goal scoring column.
UW-Parkside put 19 shots on goal. Ranger Goalkeeper Cassie Glodowski did not need to make a save.
The Eagles dropped to 4-11. The Rangers are 11-3-3.
Parkside will travel to Indianapolis for a Great Lakes Valley Conference quarterfinal match with the Greyhounds Sunday.
