Lewis Volleyball Claims No. 1 Seed for Tournament

ROMEOVILLE, Ill.- The Lewis women’s volleyball team recorded a 3-1 win over Drury (25-27, 25-18, 25-21, 25-21) Friday night to claim the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the 2009 GLVC Championship Tournament. Flyers senior, Stephanie Sagat, posted a team-high 15 kills to add to the win. Lewis improves 27-3 overall and 13-0 in the GLVC. Drury drops 15-13,  and 7-6 in league play.
