KENOSHA, Wis. - The UW-Parkside women's basketball winning streak has reached six overall. The team is also a perfect 7-0 at home after a clear cut 72-45 decision over Cardinal Stritch in a non-conference game at the DeSimone Gymnasium Sunday afternoon.

The Wolves, an NAIA affiliate which compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, came in with a record of 11-1. The Rangers are now 8-1.

Stritch scored the first three points of the game. That was their biggest lead of the afternoon.

Brittany Hogen followed up a 21-rebound performance against Robert Morris the previous day with 15 boards against Stritch. She missed a double-double with eight points. The Rangers out-rebounded the Wolves decisively, 47-30.

Nine others scored for the Rangers, including a 13-point performance by Amanda Gibson.

Parkside shot 25-50 from the floor, while limiting Stritch to just 27 percent from the floor. Twenty of the Rangers' 25 baskets came with assists, demonstraing their stellar ball movement.

The Wolves fired often from behind the three-point arc. Just five of their 25 attempts went through the net.

The Rangers' next game will be at Olivet Nazarene Tuesday, Dec. 15. This will be the only game during the regular season which will not have a broadcast. You can sign up for text messaging of final scores on the "SMS" box to the right, or simply check the website under "schedule."
