QUINCY, Ill. - The Lewis men's soccer team fought Quincy to a scoreless tie on Sunday afternoon and with the effort secured the top seed for the upcoming GLVC Men's Soccer Tournament. The Flyers (10-5-1) tied for the regular season chamionship with Northern Kentucky and Missouri S&T as all three teams finished the conference schedule with a .750 winning percentage.
Lewis will host 8th-seeded UIndy (8-7) in a quarterfinal match on Sunday at Noon CT. Northern Kentucky (11-2-3) garnered the No. 2 seed and will host Rockhurst (9-4-2) at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. Missouri S&T (9-3-3) is the No. 3 seed and will host Bellarmine (10-4-2), the No. 6 seed, while the No. 4 seed Quincy (10-4-2) will host No. 5 seed Drury (10-6-0).
