ST. LOUIS-Non-conference opponent, Lindenwood University (30-12 overall) swept Maryville (4-26) in three straight sets Wednesday, 25-16, 25-20 and 25-16.

Senior Kari Blankenship (Owensville, Mo.) had a team-high nine kills on the night and junior Ashlee Brockenbrough (St. Louis) followed closely behind with eight of her own.

Classmate Andi Neff (St. Charles, Mo.) tallied 27 assists as she ran the Saints' offense.

Senior Samantha Bock (St. Louis) had a team-best nine digs and Neff and sophomore Jamie Kloss (Highland, Ill.) each recorded seven in the match.

Two Lions, Krista Yoder and Ellen Fandry, co-led their team with 11 kills each. Kelsey Biggs and Alexandria Malam had 18 and 17 assists, respectively as they split time as Lindenwood's setter.

The Lions held the team advantages in all categories except for blocks which were even at four each.

Maryville continues its three-game homestand Friday when it hosts Indianapolis at 7 p.m. In the Nov. 1 edition of the AVCA Top 25 Poll, the Greyhounds received the No. 22 ranking.
