Rockhurst Wins UIS Spring Invitational
COMPLETE RESULTS
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Rockhurst fired a two-round score of 628 to finish first in the 12-team field of the UIS Spring Invitational held at Piper Glen Golf Club. The Hawks were led by Clarke Fry who finished second overall behind Matt Hancock, the medalist from Southern Indiana.
Hancock finished five-over par (74-73=147) and Fry followed at 11-over-par (76-77=153).
Rockhurst also received top-ten finishes from Dan Schaller and Brad Welch, who tied for seventh and tied for tenth, respectively.
Hancock helped the Eagles place third overall with a team score of 636.
Illinois-Springfield placed seventh with a team score of 652 and Saint Joseph's tied for ninth with a score of 676.
