UIndy Wins 12th Annual GLVC Women's Golf Championship
FINAL RESULTS
WATERLOO, Mo. - The University of Indianapolis won its second consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship at the 12th annual event held at Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, Ill. on Apr. 24-25.
The Greyhounds posted a 36-hole total of 619 to win the event by nine strokes over second-place finisher Drury. Southern Indiana grabbed third place with a score of 641.
UIndy was led by Allison Tyler who shot a two-day total of 74-77--151 which was good for a tie for third place. The Greyhounds' Sarah Prascsak and Lyndsay McBride also posted top-ten finishes. Prascsak was sixth and McBride placed ninth at the par-72 course.
Southern Indiana's Angela Dehning captured medalist honors at the event by claiming a playoff victory over Northern Kentucky's Lyndsey Bevill. Both golfers fired a 75-75--150.
UIndy has now won a league-best five GLVC women's golf titles.
