NCAA Men's Golf Regionals Set to Tee Off Monday
INDIANAPOLIS - The 2010 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships will begin next week, with the Midwest/South Central Regional opening play at the Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla. on May 3-5. The event, hosted by Cameron University, will feature five Great Lakes Valley Conference teams and three individuals.
Northern Kentucky, the 2010 GLVC Champion, as well as Indianpaolis, Drury, UW-Parkside and Bellarmine will be representing the conference at the event. In addition, Missouri-St. Louis junior Matt Rau, Rockhurst sophomore Clarke Fry and Lewis senior Paul Dagys will each be participating as individuals.
The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 18-21 at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind. The finals will be hosted by the Indiana Sports Corporation, the University of Indianapolis, the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Hamilton County Sports Authority.
