INDIANAPOLIS- Butler University used a nine-run fifth inning to take a 14-0 win over Indianapolis in non-conference baseball action at Bulldog Park Tuesday afternoon.  The game was the final regular season game for the Greyhounds as they prepare for this weekend's Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament.

UIndy (32-18) dueled the cross-town Bulldogs to a 0-0 score through 3.5 innings, but BU (16-22) scored three in the fourth inning to break open the scoreless tie.  It was the fifth inning that turned out to be the Hounds' undoing as the host squad posted a nine-spot in that inning.  An error and a botched double play helped extend the frame and Butler enjoyed a 12-0 lead through five innings.

Vince Saisi (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) got the start on the mound, throwing three innings of two-hit baseball with a pair of strikeouts.  Clint Seefeldt (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) was saddled with the loss after allowing five earned runs in 1.1 innings.  Matt Widick (Normal, Ill./Normal Community West) pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

The Greyhounds will take the four seed into the GLVC tournament, set to begin Thursday in Sauget, Ill.  UIndy will battle the fifth-seeded Rockhurst Hawks for a 1:00 p.m. Eastern start at GCS Ballpark.
