SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The GLVC had a strong showing at the 8,000-meter National Catholic Inviational on Friday night with Bellarmine placing first among the 25 Division II participants and fifth overall. Lewis placed third out of the 25 teams. Bellarmine's Jordan Parayil finished first in the Division II division in a time of 25:34.
In other action, Indianapolis placed fifth at the Indiana Intercollegiates, Southern Indiana tied for second at the Appalacian State Mountaineer Open, Drury and Missouri S&T finished fifth and eighth, respectively, at the Missouri Southern Stampede and Maryville placed second in its own invitational.
