OWENSBORO, Ky.- The Kentucky Wesleyan Panther men's soccer team took it's first win of the 2010 season with a 2-0 defeat of non-conference West Virginia Tech Wednesday.
KWC scored a goal in each half to take the win. Brian Benke tallied his first score of the season in the 37th minute for the Panthers' first goal, with Sam Devore taking credit for the assist.
The second KWC goal came in the 88th minute, with Mitch Jones finding the back of the net. Jordan Sosh assisted on the play.
The Panthers get back into conference play this weekend, heading to Indianapolis for a Friday matchup at 7:30 p.m.
