Drury 1, Saint Joseph’s 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Eric Heet tallied a goal in the 19th minute to lift Drury to a 1-0 win over host Saint Joseph’s on Friday night in men’s soccer action. He was assisted on the goal by Matt Hutchison and the Panthers (9-5, 7-4) were led by goalkeeper Stephen Conner who had five saves in earning the shutout. Saint Joseph’s (4-8-2, 4-5-2) outshot Drury 11-6 in the match. Drury will head to Indianapolis on Sunday and Saint Joseph’s will host Rockhurst.

 No. 10 Rockhurst 1, Lewis 1 (2OT) – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Rockhurst and Lewis battled to a 1-1 tie in double overtime on Friday night. Lewis opened the scoring with a goal by Aloisio Barros in the 11th minute. He was assisted on the play by George Thomson. Rockhurst evened the match with less than two minutes to play in regulation on a goal by Paolo Scoppola. The Hawks (9-2-1, 8-2-1) will next visit UW-Parkside on Sunday and Lewis (6-6-1, 6-4-1) will host William Jewell.

Missouri-St. Louis 3, Kentucky Wesleyan 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ST. LOUIS – Missouri-St. Louis used three second-half goals to defeat visiting Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday night in GLVC men’s soccer action. The Tritons (6-4-3, 5-4-2) were led by Almin Sabotic who had two goals in the match and Peter Hyde who added two assists. Hyde assisted on David Schwer’s game-winner in the 60th minute as well as Sabotic’s first goal in the 76th minute. Matt Burrus added an assist on Sabotic’s second goal in the 77th minute. UMSL will host Southern Indiana on Sunday and Kentucky Wesleyan will head to Maryville.

Missouri S&T 2, No. 19 Indianapolis 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

INDIANAPOLIS - The Miners put away a pair of goals to upset the No. 19 Greyhounds at UIndy Friday, with Jervis Atagana tallying his first goal of the season in the 60th minute that would prove to be the gamewinner. Atagana took a ball from Spencer Brinkmeyer on a breakaway down the far side and scored past UIndy's Andrew Verhonik to put the Miners up 1-0. A penalty kick make from Ryan Muich in the final minute of the match gave Missouri S&T the 2-0 final decision. The win improves the Miners to 8-4-1, 6-4-1 in GLVC play, while the Greyhounds fall to 10-3-0, 9-2-0 in conference contests.

No. 7 Northern Kentucky 1, Quincy 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

QUINCY, Ill. – No. 7 Northern Kentucky picked up a GLVC road win at Quincy on Friday behind a goal from Anthony Meyer in the 82nd minute. Mohammad Salhieh assisted on the game-winner and Northern Kentucky’s Ben Dorn recorded the shutout with three saves. Northern Kentucky (11-2, 9-2) will return at UIS on Sunday and Quincy (8-4-1, 7-3-1) will host Bellarmine.

 Bellarmine 5, Illinois Springfield 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Bellarmine rolled to a 5-0 win over host UIS on Friday night in GLVC men’s soccer action. The Knights (7-6-0, 6-5-0) were led by Connor Brehm who had three unassisted goals in the second half. Austin Chitwood scored the game-winning goal in the sixth minute on an assist from Jack Binns. Jacob Kaye added the Knights final goal in the 80th minute. Blake Hunter and Cody Russell recorded three and two saves, respectively, for the Knights. Bellarmine will visit Quincy on Sunday and UIS will host Northern Kentucky.

Southern Indiana 4, Maryville 3 (2OT) – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ST. LOUIS - Jeffrey McClure tied the match and then won it in double-overtime for visiting Southern Indiana at Maryville Friday. The Screaming Eagles took a 4-3 double-overtime win to move to 3-9-1, 2-8-1 in GLVC play, while Maryville falls to 3-10-1, 2-9-0 in conference matches. The Screaming Eagles got on the scoreboard in just the second minute, with Rush Dugger scoring on a set piece. Maryville scored the next two goals to go up 2-1, with Erik Doediger (36:16) and Nick Doherty (52:42) each tallying scores. James Kennedy then tied the matchin the 71st minute on an assist from Austin Andrekus. Kory Dowell put the host Saints up 3-2 in the 88th minute on a long shot from the left side, but McClure answered back just 14 seconds later with an unassisted score slotted inside the far post to send the match to extra minutes. McClure then found the back of the net near the right post in the 107th minute to give the Screaming Eagles the win.

William Jewell 1, UW-Parkside 0 (2OT) – BOX SCORE | RECAP

SOMERS, Wis. - Reigning GLVC Player of the Week Troy Green of William Jewell lifted his team to a 1-0 double-overtime at Wisconsin-Parkside in conference action Friday afternoon. Green scored on a cross from Forrest McCurren for his 11th goal of the season. The Cardinals fired off 23 shots in the contest, to Wisconsin-Parkside's 16, and also took a whopping 15 corner kick chances in the contest to the Rangers' seven. The win lifts William Jewell to 9-5-0 on the season, 7-4-0 in GLVC play, while the Rangers fall to 6-6-1 on the season, 4-6-1 in the GLVC.
