Northern Kentucky 1, Quincy 0 (2OT) - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
QUINCY, Ill.- A goal in the 108th minute of play from Allison Ponzer on an unassisted play gave Northern Kentucky the GLVC women's soccer league lead. The visiting Norse took a 1-0 win over Quincy on the goal, in double overtime. The score was Ponzer's ninth of the season. With the win, Northern Kentucky rises to 12-1-0 overall, 10-1-0 in taking over sole possession of the conference lead. The Lady Hawks fall to 12-2-0, 9-2-0 in GLVC games.

UW-Parkside 2, William Jewell 1 (OT) -

KENOSHA, Wis.- It took an extra 4:38, but the host Rangers were able to pull out a 2-1 overtime win over visiting William Jewell in GLVC action Friday afternoon. The Cardinals took an early 1-0 lead on an unassisted score from Sarah Franklin in the 17th minute, good for her 10th goal of the year. Brynn Darga's first goal of 2011 then tied the ballgame in the 35th minute. Darga made the score into the upper right corner of the frame on assists from Alexandra Hauser and Megan Owens. A goal from Kristen Benson at the 94:38 mark won the game for the Rangers. Benson's second goal of the year was assisted by Darga and Stephanie Barsuli. The Rangers improve to 7-2-1, 7-2-1 in the GLVC with the win, while William Jewell falls to 6-6-0, 4-6-0 in conference play with the loss.

Southern Indiana 1, Maryville 0 -

ST. LOUIS- A goal in the 63rd minute off the foot of Julia Kohnen lifted the visiting Screaming Eagles to a 1-0 win at Maryville in GLVC action Friday evening. Kohnen scored on a tap in at the left side on a long cross from the right side from Makenzie Brinker. The win improves Southern Indiana to 6-6-2 on the season, 6-4-1 in GLVC play, while Maryville falls to 3-10-1, 3-8-0 in league games.

Bellarmine 2, Illinois-Springfield 0 -

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.- A pair of second half goals lifted visiting Bellarmine to a 2-0 win over Illinois Springfield in GLVC play Friday. Allison Menchak scored into the upper left of the goal off of a pass from Abby Janszen in the 63rd minute to break the scoreless tie, and less than two and a half minutes later Lauren Boyd tallied her fourth goal of the season to put the Knights up 2-0. The win improves Bellarmine to 10-2-1, 9-2-0 in GLVC matches, and puts them in a tie for second place in the conference, while the Prairie stars fall to 4-7-1, 3-7-1 in GLVC matches.

Rockhurst 2, Lewis 1 -

ROMEOVILLE, Ill.- A goal in the 77th minute broke a 1-1 tie and gave the visiting Hawks a 2-1 win at Lewis Friday evening. Taylor Skala's 10th goal of the season put Rockhurst up 1-0 in the 18th minute, and a score from Katie Kujawa in the 77th minute put the Hawks up 2-0. Lewis cut the lead in half on a score from Daniella DiGiola in the 86th minute, but it was too little too late as the Hawks went on to win and improve to 9-3-1, 7-3-1 in conference matches. Lewis falls to 5-6-1, 5-5-1 with the loss.

RENNSELAER, Ind.- Emily Cline scored four goals on the night and assisted on another to lead visiting Drury to a 7-0 victory at Saint Joseph's in GLVC play Friday. Cline scored in the 21st, 23rd, 27th and 84th minute, and assisted on Ashton Allcorn's score in the 81st minute. Hillary Cockerall had a goal and an assist, with Lindsey Sprouse scoring the other Panther goal. The win lifts Drury to 6-7-1, 3-7-1 in GLVC matches, while the Pumas fall to 2-12-0, 1-10-0 in conference contests with the loss.

Indianapolis 2, Missouri S&T 0 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhounds took a 1-0 win over visiting Missouri S&T in conference action Friday night. Lauren Soza put UIndy up early, scoing in just the second minute of play. Soza rebounded a mis-play by the Lady Miner keeper on a Megan Grassly shot and finished it into the center of the net for her fifth goal of the season. Nicole Duncan added the UIndy insurance goal in the 72nd minute, beating two defenders and finishing the ball past the drawn-out keeper. The Greyhounds improve to 9-4-0, 7-3-0 in GLVC matches, while Missouri S&T falls to 3-8-1, 3-8-0 in conference with the loss.

Missouri-St. Louis 5, Kentucky Wesleyan 0 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
ST. LOUIS- A pair of goals each from Kaylee Neutsling and Kelly Muesenfechter led host Missouri-St. Louis to a 5-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan in conference action Friday. Neutzling scored in the 24th and 27th minutes to give UMSL the early 2-0 lead, with Muesenfechter adding the Tritons' third score in the 34th minute on a breakaway shot. Kayla Thorpe tallied her first goal of the year at the 42-minute mark on a header, and Muesenfechter closed out the scoring in the 47th minute on a cross from Brittany Harbaugh. Nuetsling's scores give her a total of six for the year, while Muesenfechter now also has six goals in 2011. The win lifts the Tritons to 6-6-0 overall, 5-5-0 in GLVC contests, while the Panthers fall to 1-10-0, 1-10-0 in conference matches.
