Drury 3, No. 19 Indianapolis 1 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

INDIANAPOLIS – Drury scored twice in the second half on Sunday afternoon to pull off an upset at 19th-ranked Indianapolis, 3-1, in men’s soccer action. The Panthers (10-5, 8-4) fell behind 1-0 in the 11th minute at UIndy’s Joe McGuire scored his first goal of the season on a Casey Castle assists. Drury’s Alec Nagel notched the game-tying goal in the 20th minute on an assist from Ryan Haas. Jack Mathis scored the game-winner in the 51st minute and was assisted by Taylor Stacy. Matt Hutchison iced the game for the Panthers with a breakaway score in the 55th minute. Drury will next host Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday and UIndy (10-4, 9-3) will travel to Rockhurst.

Missouri-St. Louis 2, Southern Indiana 1 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ST. LOUIS – Evan Schumacher scored off a corner kick in the 83rd minute to deliver a win for Missouri-St. Louis over visiting Southern Indiana on Sunday, 2-1. Missouri-St. Louis (7-4-3, 6-4-3) jumped out to an early lead as Peter Hyde scored the first goal of the match in the 12th minute off a cross from David Schwer. USI (3-10-1, 2-9-1) tied the match at 1-1 in the 58th minute on a goal by Miles Durham before Hyde put home the game-winner. UMSL will head to Northern Kentucky on Friday and USI is slated to host UIS.

Bellarmine 3, Quincy 2 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

QUINCY, Ill. – Bellarmine knocked off Quincy in a GLVC men’s soccer match on Sunday afternoon behind second half goals from Justin Klenke and John Cantrell. The Knights (8-6, 7-5) opened the scoring behind Robert Bowling’s fifth goal of the season in the 28th minute. Jeff Vaninger tied the match for Quincy early in the second half before Klenke put the Hawks on top for goo in the 60th minute. Cantrell, who assisted on Bowling’s earlier score, put home the game-winner in the 81st minute. Vaninger added a late goal for the Hawks to finish with two on the afternoon. Bellarmine will host Maryville on Friday and Quincy (8-5-1, 7-4-1) will head to Kentucky Wesleyan.

No. 10 Rockhurst 1, UW-Parkside 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

SOMERS, Wis. – No. 10 Rockhurst defeated host Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday afternoon, 1-0.  The Hawks (10-2-1, 9-2-1) received the game-winner in the 65th minute on a Mark Magee penalty kick.  Rockhurst goalkeeper earned a shutout with one save and the Hawks outshot the Rangers on the day, 21-8. Rockhurst will host Indianapolis on Friday and UW-Parkside (6-7-1, 4-7-1) will visit Drury.

Maryville 5, Kentucky Wesleyan 1 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ST. LOUIS – Maryville rolled to a 5-1 victory over visiting Kentucky Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon in men’s soccer action. The Saints scored twice in the first half as Leo Bassi Rodriguez scored one of his two goals on the afternoon in the 18th minute and Matt Bearley scored the game-winner in the 33rd minute on an assist from Kory Dowell. Rodriguez finished the afternoon with five points on two goals and an assist and Dowell added a goal on the afternoon. Kevin Aubuchon put home the Saints final goal on the afternoon in the 72nd minute. Maryville (4-10-1, 3-9-0) will next travel to Bellarmine on Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan (2-13, 0-12) will host Quincy.

Lewis 3, William Jewell 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Despite being outshot 17-10 on Sunday afternoon, Lewis cruised to a 3-0 victory over visiting William Jewell in a GLVC men’s soccer contest. Christhian Ramirez scored two first-half goals to lead the way for the Flyers. He scored in the sixth minute on assists from David Pyle and George Thomson and added a second goal in the 32nd minute unassisted. Lewis received another insurance goal from Robens Decius in the 60th minute. Alec Pickett recorded the shutout in goal with eight saves. Lewis (7-6-1, 7-4-1) will head to Missouri S&T on Friday and William Jewell (9-6, 7-5) will host Saint Joseph’s.

Missouri S&T 2, Saint Joseph’s 0 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Missouri S&T completed a weekend sweep with a 2-0 win over host Saint Joseph’s on Sunday afternoon. The Miners (7-4-3, 6-4-2) received the game-winner in the 23rd minute from Peter Haw. Kyle Schraier added an insurance goal in the 79th minute and was assisted on the goal by Ben Emnett. Matt Jackson earned the shutout in goal by making two saves. S&T will host Lewis on Friday and Saint Joseph’s (4-9-2, 4-6-2) will head to William Jewell.

No. 7 Northern Kentucky 2, Illinois Springfield 1 – BOX SCORE | RECAP

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – No. 7 Northern Kentucky scored two late goals to rally from a 1-0 deficit and pick up a 2-1 win at Illinois Springfield on Sunday afternoon. The Norse (12-2, 10-2) tied the match on a Cian McDonald score in the 71st minute. Anthony Meyer notched the game-winner in the 77th minute on an assist from Michael Bartlett. The Prairie Stars (0-11-2, 0-10-2) received their lone goal from Colton Harden in the ninth minute. Northern Kentucky will host Missouri-St. Louis on Friday and UIS is scheduled to play at Southern Indiana.
