No. 23 Indianapolis 3, Saint Joseph’s 0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-12)

INDIANAPOLIS – No. 23 Indianapolis moved to 12-2 in GLVC play this season with a sweep of visiting Saint Joseph’s on Tuesday night. The Greyhounds (16-6) were led by Kristina Kerrigan who attacked at a .333 clip and finished with a match-high 18 kills. Meghan Binkerd tallied 36 assists, nine digs and three kills in the win and Amy Oldenburg notched 16 digs to help the Greyhounds limit Saint Joseph’s to a .060 hitting percentage. Saint Joseph’s (10-13, 3-11) was led by Sharon Freund who had seven kills and 13 digs. Indianapolis will host Northern Kentucky on Friday and Saint Joseph’s will host Bellarmine.

No. 14 Northern Kentucky 3, Bellarmine 2 (25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-10)

LOUISVILLE – Behind 53 assists from Jenna Schreiver and 22 kills from Sara Drennen , No. 14 Northern Kentucky pulled out a five-set decision over host Bellarmine on Tuesday night in a GLVC volleyball match. The Norse (21-3, 11-3) secured a GLVC Tournament berth behind Drennen’s .436 attack percentage and 16 digs. Shelby Buschur and Noelle Peterson added 12 and 14 kills, respectively, for NKU. Bellarmine was led by Krista Gibson who hit .310 and finished with 16 kills. Northern Kentucky will travel to Indianapolis on Friday and Bellarmine is scheduled to visit Saint Joseph’s.

Rockhurst 3, William Jewell 0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-19)

KANSAS CITY – Rockhurst protected its home court with a 3-0 win over visiting William Jewell in GLVC volleyball action on Tuesday. The Hawks (13-12, 7-7) evened their league mark by posting a .339 hitting percentage. Maggie McGovern led the way for Rockhurst with a match-high 19 kills and a .471 hitting percentage. Leah Grant posted  47 assists in just three sets to pace the strong attack. William Jewell (14-9, 6-8) was guided by Hannah Herndon who finished with 12 kills and five digs.  Rockhurst will host Missouri-St. Louis on Friday and William Jewell will welcome Maryville to Liberty, Mo.

Southern Indiana 3, Kentucky Wesleyan 0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-19)

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Southern Indiana ran its winning streak to four with a 3-0 win over visiting Kentucky Wesleyan on Tuesday night. Lauren DeShaney posted a match-high 13 kills and reigning Sports Imports/AVCA D-II National Player of the Week Danielle LaGrange notched seven kills, nine digs and five blocks for the Eagles. Kentucky Wesleyan (6-20, 0-14) was led by Bridget Johnson who collected 12 kills. Southern Indiana (17-7, 12-2) will host UW-Parkside on Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan will welcome Lewis.

Missouri S&T 3, Drury 0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-23)

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T took down Drury in three sets on Tuesday evening in a GLVC volleyball match. The Miners (18-8, 11-3) were paced by Jennifer Costello who collected 36 assists. Teammate Jackie Zellmer had a team-high 10 kills, six blocks and four service aces and Erin Bekebrede and Hayley wright each added nine kills. Drury (14-12, 5-9) was led by Ali Rook who had a team-best 11 kills. S&T will visit Quincy on Friday and Drury will travel to UIS.

Lewis 3, UW-Parkside 0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-17)

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – No. 20 Lewis avenged an earlier loss to Wisconsin-Parkside by topping the visiting Rangers on Tuesday night, 3-0. The Flyers held UW-Parkside to a .118 hitting percentage and were led by Danielle Mount who attacked at a .522 clip and had 15 kills and four blocks. Jen Krumwiede finished with a .304 hitting percentage and 11 kills and Leigh Barea guided the attack with 38 assists. UW-Parkside (13-13, 9-5) was led by Caroline Langer who had nine kills. Lewis (19-5, 11-3) will visit Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday and UW-Parkside will travel to Southern Indiana.

Missouri-St. Louis 3, Maryville 0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-20)

ST. LOUIS – Missouri-St. Louis hit .384 to knock off host Maryville on Tuesday night in three sets. The Tritons (16-8, 10-4) were led by Weslie Gaff who posted a .542 hitting percentage and 15 kills. Erin Higgins added 12 kills and hit .444. Setter Anna McNulty posted 42 assists in just three sets. Maryville was led by Ashlee Brockenbrough who had 16 kills. UMSL will head to Rockhurst on Friday and Maryville (8-14, 3-11) will head to William Jewell.

Quincy 3, Illinois Springfield 1 (25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 25-21)

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Quincy defeated Illinois Springfield in four sets on Tuesday night. The Lady Hawks (12-11, 6-8) held UIS to a .065 hitting percentage and were led by Lyndsay Kooi who had 39 assists, six kills and nine digs. Briann Joslin hit .414 during the match and finished with a team-high 15 kills. UIS (4-21, 1-13) was paced by Kellee Mahaffay who had 13 kills. Quincy will host S&T on Friday and UIS is scheduled to host Drury.
