INDIANAPOLIS – In a key GLVC East Division matchup, No. 23 Indianapolis defeated the visiting No. 14 Northern Kentucky Norse in four sets. The Greyhounds (17-6, 13-2) were led by Kristina Hefferan who had 15 kills and 12 digs and setter Meghan Binkerd who posted 50 assists, 11 digs and six kills. UIndy also received 12 kills from Kristina Kerrigan, 11 Kills from Courtney Anglemeyer and a match-high 25 digs from Amy Oldenburg. Northern Kentucky (21-4, 11-4) was paced by Sarah Drennen who had 15 kills and 12 digs and Jenna Schreiver who finished with 46 assists and 10 digs. Indianapolis will host Bellarmine on Saturday and Northern Kentucky is scheduled to visit Saint Joseph’s.
Rockhurst 3, Missouri-St. Louis 1 (25-22, 11-25, 25-16, 25-20)

KANSAS CITY – Rockhurst knocked off visiting Missouri-St. Louis in a GLVC volleyball match on Friday night, 3-1. Maggie McGovern hit at a .327 clip and finished with 22 kills, five digs and three blocks to lead the Hawks. Rockhurst (14-12, 8-7) received 40 assists and 11 digs from Leah Grant and seven kills and six blocks from Emily Ready. Missouri-St. Louis (16-9, 10-5) was led by Weslie Gaff who finished with a .343 hitting percentage and 16 kills. Rockhurst will host Maryville on Saturday and Missouri-St. Louis will travel to William Jewell.
Southern Indiana 3, Wisconsin-Parkside 1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 25-19)

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Southern Indiana topped Wisconsin-Parkside in four sets to remain in a tie for first place in the GLVC East Division with Indianapolis at 13-2. The Eagles hit .325 and received a double-double from Danielle LaGrange who hit .600 and had 16 kills, 11 digs and six blocks. Jorae Bradbury tallied 45 assists and 10 digs and Lauren DeShaney added 15 kills. UW-Parkside (13-14, 9-6) was led by Cassy Marx and Addie Kramer who each had 12 kills. Southern Indiana will host No. 20 Lewis on Saturday and UW-Parkside is headed to Kentucky Wesleyan.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – No. 20 Lewis defeated Kentucky Wesleyan in four sets on Friday night to move to 12-3 in league play and solely into second place in the GLVC East Division. Hannah Koenaman had 10 kills and seven blocks to lead the Flyers and Leigh Barea and Vivian Pritz combined for 53 assists. Kentucky Wesleyan (6-21, 0-15) received seven kills and a .385 hitting percentage from Chelsea Brothers. Lewis will head to Southern Indiana on Saturday and Kentucky Wesleyan is scheduled to host UW-Parkside.
William Jewell 3, Maryville 1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-17)

LIBERTY, Mo. – William Jewell dropped the first set on Friday night but rallied to take the next three and earn a 3-1 win over Maryville. William Jewell (15-8, 7-8) hit .314 and were guided by Hannah Herndon who finished with a .341 hitting percentage, 20 kills and 13 digs. Morgan Sleeper added 12 kills and Katie Dagmar chipped in 21 digs for the Cardinals. Maryville (8-15, 3-12) was led by Ashlee Brockenbrough how had 17 kills and posted a .424 hitting percentage. William Jewell will host Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday and Maryville will travel to Rockhurst.
Missouri S&T 3, Quincy 2 (25-15, 25-12, 14-25, 21-25, 15-13)

QUINCY, Ill. – Missouri S&T fended off a Quincy surge and held on to secure a 3-2 victory in GLVC volleyball action on Friday. The Miners (19-8, 12-3) won the first two sets and secured a 15-13 decision in the fifth set after Quincy had fought back to tie it with wins in the third and fourth sets. Erin Bekebrede posted a double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs and Jackie Zelmer added 15 kills and five blocks. Briann Joslin notched 17 kills to lead Quincy who fell to 12-12 overall and 6-9 in league play. Missouri S&T will head to UIS on Saturday and Quincy is set to host Drury.
Drury 3, Illinois Springfield 2 (22-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, 15-7)

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Drury took the first eight points of the final set on Friday night to earn a 15-7 in the deciding frame and post a 3-2 win at Illinois Springfield. Erica Heim hit .340 and posted 23 kills and 12 digs to guide the Panthers. Amanda Watson added 13 kills for Drury and Ali Rook and Kylee Inman added 12 and 11 kills, respectively. UIS (3-11, 1-14) received 13 kills apiece from Annie Nottingham and Kellee Mahaffay. Drury will travel to Quincy on Saturday and UIS will host S&T.
Bellarmine 3, Saint Jsoeph’s 2 (25-17, 25-23, 24-26, 21-25, 15-10)

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Bellarmine held off a Saint Joseph’s rally on Friday night to pick up a 3-2 road win in GLVC volleyball action. The Knights (12-10, 6-9) hit .242 and had three players with double-digit kills. Paula Byrns led Bellarmine with 21 kills and 14 digs. Krista Gibson added 17 kills and Lucy Knott posted a .519 hitting percentage and 16 kills. Sharon Freund had 19 kills and 18 digs for the Pumas. Bellarmine will visit No. 23 Indianapolis on Saturday and Saint Joseph’s (10-14, 3-12) will welcome No. 14 Northern Kentucky.
