No. 23 Indianapolis 3, Missouri-St. Louis 0 – 25-16, 25-15, 25-12

INDIANAPOLIS – No. 23 Indianapolis moved its winning streak to 10 straight games with a sweep of visiting Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday afternoon. The Greyhounds (12-4, 10-1) hit .340 during the match and Meghan Binkerd collected 33 assists. Kristina Kerrigan, a day after collecting her 1,000th career kill, posted nine against the Tritons as did Kristina Hefferan. UMSL (12-6, 7-4) was led by Erin Higgins who had a match-high 10 kills.

No. 21 Lewis 3, Quincy 0 – 25-12, 25-21, 25-18

Romeoville, Ill. – No.21 Lewis rolled to a 3-0 win over visiting Quincy on Sunday afternoon, 25-12, 25-21, 25-18. The Flyers (13-4, 8-3) wree led by Danielle Mount who had nine kills and six blocks and Colleen Mitros who hit .364 with nine kills and eight digs. Quincy (7-9, 4-7) was led by Brittany Atkinson who had six kills and a .400 hitting percentage.

No. 13 Northern Kentucky 3, Rockhurst 0 – 25-21, 25-21, 25-19

KANSAS CITY – Sarah Drennen had 12 kills to lead No. 13 Northern Kentucky to a 3-0 win at Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon. The Norse (15-2, 9-2) ran their winning streak to five straight matches with victory. Jenna Schreiver paced the attack with 33 assists and Kim Nemcek added nine kills, 10 digs and a .471 hitting percentage. Rockhurst (7-11, 4-7) was led by Maggie McGovern who had 14 kills.

Southern Indiana 3, Drury 0 – 25-20, 25-12, 25-20

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Leah Mercer took the top spot on Southern Indiana’s career wins list as the Eagles knocked off host Drury on Sunday afternoon, 3-0. USI (11-5, 9-2) was led by Danielle LaGrange who had 12 kills and seven digs, Lauren DeShaney who added 11 kills and Emily Meyer who tallied 11 kills and a .529 hitting percentage. LaGrange hit .556 during the match and DeSDhaney hit to help the Eagles hit .432 as a team. Drury (11-8, 5-6) was led by Sara Borneman who had 12 kills.

Missouri S&T 3, Kentucky Wesleyan 0 – 25-13, 25-19, 25-18

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T topped visiting Kentucky Wesleyan, 3-0, on Sunday in a GLVC volleyball match. The Miners (14-6, 9-2) received 11 kills from Jackie Zellmer and 10 kills from Hayley Wright. Setter Jennifer Costello finished with 31 assists and six kills and Jocelyn DeMotte tallied 21 digs for the Miners in the match. Kentucky Wesleyan (4-15, 0-11) received 20 kills and 11 digs from Jordan Rickert in the loss.

Bellarmine 3, William Jewell 1 – 25-16, 25-22, 26-28, 25-23

LIBERTY, Mo. – Paula Byrns reeled off 24 kills, 12 digs and finished with a .476 hitting percentage to help Bellarmine to a 3-1 win at William Jewell on Sunday afternoon. The Knights (9-6, 5-6) hit .277 for the match and Krista Gibson added 18 kills in the win. Setter Bailey BredenbeckCorp posted 53 assists, seven digs and six kills to help in the effort. William Jewell (9-7, 5-6) was led by Elsey Hopkins who hit .370 and had 13 kills.  

Maryville 3, Saint Joseph’s 2 – 17-25, 28-26, 18-25, 25-10, 15-13

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Ashlee Brockenbrough tallied 20 kills to lead Maryville to a 3-2 win at Saint Joseph’s on Sunday afternoon. The Saints (5-10, 2-9), trailing 2-1 in the fourth set, ripped off a 25-10 decision to even the match and then won the contest by winning the fifth set, 15-13. Hannah Seitter finished with 24 digs and Andi Neff collected 39 assists in the win. Saint Joseph’s (7-10, 2-9) was led by Katherine Brown who had 20 kills, 21 assists and 10 digs. Courtney Bast added 34 digs in the loss.

UW-Parkside 3, Illinois Springfield 1 – 22-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-23

SOMERS, Wis. – After dropping the opening set, UW-Parkside reeled off decisions in the next three to pull out a 3-1 win against visiting Illinois Springfield on Sunday afternoon. The Rangers (10-8, 8-3) were led by Addie Kramer who had 17 kills and five blocks and Caroline Langer who added 15 kills and 13 digs. UIS (3-16, 1-10) was led by Sam Krilich and Annie Nottingham who had 19 and 17 kills, respectively.
