Lewis 90, Upper Iowa 86 (2OT) - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
FAYETTE, Iowa- Four free throws in the final seconds of the second overtime lifted the Lewis Flyers to a 90-86 win at Upper Iowa Friday night. Jamie Johnson and Sam Rinehart each hit on a pair of shots from the charity stripe to seal the Flyer win. Jess Reinhart and Alexus Grayer each had 18 for Lewis on the night, with Jess Reinhart completing the double-double with 10 rebounds. The Flyers will now travel to Honolulu, Hawaii next week for a pair of games against BYU-Hawaii on Thanksgiving afternoon at 1 PM (HST) and Northeastern State on Friday.

Saint Joseph's 79, Culver Stockton 71 -

QUINCY, Ill.- Saint Joseph's earned its third win of the season with a 79-71 win over Culver-Stockton in the first game of the Quincy Tip-Off Classic Friday night. The Pumas (3-2) were led by Montrell Mills' 22 points and six rebounds, including seven free throw makes in the final two minutes to preserve the win for Saint Joseph's. Britney Cruse added 14 for the Pumas, who face off with Arkansas-Fort Smith tomorrow at 2 p.m. CST from Quincy.  

Avila 62, Rockhurst 44 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The host Lady Hawks took a loss in their first game of the Caholic Collegiate Invitational Friday night, falling 62-44 to Avila. Allison Streich led Rockhurst with 10 points in the loss, which drops the Lady Hawks to 0-2 on the young season. Rockhurst hosts Regis tomorrow as the Invitational continues.

Southern Indiana 109, Mid-Continent 42 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Southern Indiana improved to 3-0 on the season with a 109-42 win over Mid-Continent Friday evening. Kristin Raker scored 22 points off the Screaming Eagle bench, while Nicole Hazemi added 20 points in the win. Southern Indiana never trailed in the contest, in which it shot 58.6 percent, while the visiting Cougars shot just 27.3 percent on the night. Next up for the Screaming Eagles is a home matchup with Northwood Nov. 22.

Quincy 98, Arkansas-Ft. Smith 74 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
QUINCY, Ill.- The Quincy Lady Hawks opened their season at their own Tip-Off Classic Friday evening, taking a 98-74 win over Arkansas-Ft. Smith. Ali Schwagmeyer's 22 points led the Lady Hawks, who shot nearly 60 percent on the night, 66.7 percent from behind the three-point arc. Kassidy Shuman and Darla Gatschenberger each added 14 points for Quincy, while Linsay Henke and Daryle Goldie each had a dozen for the Lady Hawks. Quincy hosts Culver-Stockton Saturday to close out Tip-Off Classic action.

William Jewell 77, Northwest Missouri St. 64 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP
MARYVILLE, Mo.- The Cardinals evened their record to 1-1 on the young 2011-12 season with a 77-64 win over Northwest Missouri State Friday evening. Cassy Nicolay led William Jewell with a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds on the night, while Holly Switzer added 16 points for the Cardinals, who out-rebounded the host Bearcats 49-34 in the contest. William Jewel continues Northwest Missouri Classic play Saturday, facing off with William Penn.
