Indianapolis 3, Southern Indiana 1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22)

HILLSDALE, Mich.- The UIndy Greyhounds took a 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22) win over Southern Indiana in NCAA Midwest Regional action Friday.

Kristina Kerrigan led #20 UIndy (23-7) to the win, hitting .537 in the four-set win with 26 kills. Kerrigan completed the double-double with 12 digs in the match. In addition to Kerrigan, Kristina Hefferan added 20 kills and 11 digs, while Meghan Binkerd had 57 assists in the victory.

Danielle LaGrange's 21 kills led the Screaming Eagles, who close out the season with a record of 20-11. Jorae Bradbury had 46 assists in the match for Southern Indiana.

The Greyhounds advance to play two-seeded Ferris State in the regional semifinals Saturday at 5 p.m.



Northern Kentucky 3, Lewis 1 (22-25, 25-9, 25-22, 26-24)

HILLSDALE, Mich.- Northern Kentucky took a 3-1 (22-25, 25-9, 25-22, 26-24) win over Lewis in the NCAA Midwest Regional quarterfinal match at Hillsdale Friday.

The #16 Norse (26-5) were led by Sarah Drennen's 16 kills and 14 digs on the match, while Noelle Peterson hit .500 with 18 kills for Northern Kentucky. Kylee Tarantino led the Norse defense with 23 digs in the four-set win, while Jenna Schreiver dished out 49 assists.

Jen Krumwiede's double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs led the #17 Flyers, who close out the season 25-7. Leigh Barea had 37 assists in the match, while Hannah Koeneman and Danielle Mount each had 10 kills for Lewis.

Northern Kentucky advances to face Hillsdale in regional semifinal action tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. from Hillsdale.
 

Hillsdale 3, Missouri S&T 1 (25-20, 16-25, 25-12, 25-18)

HILLSDALE, Mich. - Host Hillsdale secured a 3-1 (25-20, 16-25, 25-12, 25-18) win over Missouri S&T on Friday night in a NCAA Midwest Regional quarterfinal match.

The eigth-ranked Chargers (28-2) hit .345 in the victory and were led by Ashlee Crowder who finished with 17 kills and a .517 hitting percentage.

Missouri S&T (24-10) had three players with double-digit kills in the loss, including Erin Bekebreke who posted 13. Hayley Wright added 11 kills and Jackie Zellmer finished with 10 kills.

Hillsdale will meet Northern Kentucky on Friday night in a regional semifinal matchup.
