KIRKSVILLE, Mo.- Mark Magee scored his 12th goal of the season to give sixth-ranked Rockhurst a 2-1 win at Truman State Wednesday in Kirksville, Mo. Magee scored the game-winning goal in the 35th minute on a 10-yard shot off a throw-in from Dan Frohock. Nick McDonald tied the score with a goal in the 21st minute with an assist from Magee.
Rockhurst, 15-2-1, will next meet Quincy in the GLVC Tournament semifinals on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Hawks moved up from third to first in this week's NCAA Midwest Regional rankings. The final ranking will be announced on Monday, Nov. 7.
