INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhounds evened their record at 2-2 with a 73-54 victory over GLIAC-foe Saginaw Valley State in the UIndy Thanksgiving Classic Friday. Kirstin Turner led the way for UIndy, with a team-high 13 points and five assists, while Kelly Walter and Eliza Wortman each had 11 for the Greyhounds. UIndy faces off with Northern Michigan as its Thanksgiving Classic continues Saturday.
Missouri S&T 73, Cal St.-Dominguez Hills 42 - BOX SCORE | RECAP
PHOENIX, Ariz.- Behind a 35-6 performance in the final 13 minutes of play, Missouri S&T took an easy 73-42 win over Cal St. Dominguez Hills Friday at the Grand Canyon Thanksgiving Classic. The Lady Miners (2-0) were led by Hailee Parks' 18 points, while Katelyn Heil added 12. Missouri S&T continues play Saturday with a contest against San Francisco State in Grand Canyon Thanksgiving Classic action.
Pittsburgh State 80, Maryville 67 -BOX SCORE | RECAP
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- The Saints lost their first game of the 2011-12 season Friday, falling to Pittsburgh State 80-67 in the Best Western Plus Capital Inn Classic hosted by Lincoln. Erica Lorton finished with 17 points for Maryville (2-1), while Rita Flynn had 12 points and JoAnne Thompson added 10. The Saints play host Lincoln Saturday to close out the Classic.
