Ottawa 93, Rockhurst 90 - BOX SCORE | RECAP
KANSAS CITY- The Rockhurst University men's basketball team hosted fellow Kansas City squad Ottawa University on Tuesday. The Hawks fell short in the local matchup losing by only a three-point margin (93-90).
Despite the loss, sophomore guard Brandan McCann posted 25 points on the night to keep the game within three. McCann also highlighed the night with five rebounds and one assist. Senior Najja Nicholson also hit double digits scoring 18 points for the Hawks.
As a team, the Hawks shot 36-for-76 (47.4%) from the field and collected a combined 26 rebounds.
The Rockhurst squad moves to 4-5 on the year and will look to bounce back against McPherson at home on December 16.
