LIBERTY, Mo.- The host Cardinals took a 72-42 win over visiting Ottawa in non-league action Friday evening at William Jewell. WJC (6-2) was led by Holly Switzer's 12 points, while both Tesia Danner and Chelsea Meeks added 11 points for the Cardinals. Aerial Smith added 10 for William Jewell, which forced 31 Ottawa turnovers en route to the victory. Next up for the Cardinals is their return to GLVC play. William Jewell heads to Northern Kentucky and Bellarmine Jan. 5 and 7.
Western Washington 76, Drury 57 - BOX SCORE | RECAP
LAS VEGAS- Drury closed out its play in the Great Western Shootout Friday afternoon with a 76-57 loss to Western Washington. The Lady Panthers (6-4) were led by a career-high 20 points from Erica Grosse, while Casey Carroll put in a season-high 14 for Drury in the setback. The Lady Panthers take a break until the New Year, with their next action coming Jan. 2 against McKendree.

WARRENSBURG, Mo.- Central Missouri took a 94-59 win over Lewis Friday night on its home court. The Flyers (3-6) were led by 15 points from Labrenthia Murcock in the loss. The host Jennie shot more than 55 percent and out-rebounded Lewis 37-24 in the contest in taking the victory. Lewis plays Michigan Tech Dec. 30 to close out the 2011 calendar year.
