Highland Heights, Ky.- The Northern Kentucky men’s basketball team continued their unbeaten streak with a 98-53 win against Salem International on Sunday evening. Northern Kentucky shot an impressive 23-for-36 from the field to dominate the second half and lock in the win by a 45 point margin. Jon Van Hoose led the Norse with 22 points on the night. DeAndre Nealy also contributed 15 points refusing to miss a shot on the night. The team forced 24 turnovers from the opposing Salem International squad. The undefeated Norse will look to continue their run at home against Shepherd on December 30.

 

 

Boca Raton, Fla.- The Missouri S&T Miners took a trip to Boca Raton to take on Lynn University in non-conference action on Sunday night. The Miners could not hang on and were outscored by the Knights 75-42. Nusrath Khan was Missouri S&T's leading scorer as he banked 11 points on the night. Tommy Pelczynski also hit double figures as he contributed 10 points to the total. The team combined to capture 34 total rebounds and six steals. Missouri S&T (1-9) will return to action tomorrow night against Barry.
