Barry 54, Missouri S&T 50 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP

 Boca Raton, Fla.- The Missouri S&T men’s basketball squad turned around after last night’s game against Lynn to take on Barry in a non-conference matchup on Monday night. Missouri S&T only trailed by 4 at the half and could not recover from the four point deficit for the remainder of the game. Bryce Foster was the leading scorer for Missouri S&T posting 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting. Bennett also collected four rebounds. The Miners (1-10) will next head to Evansville after the holidays to continue conference action against Southern Indiana.
 
Central State 72, Saint Joseph’s 65 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
Wilberforce, Ohio- The Saint Joseph’s Pumas traveled to Ohio to take on regional opponent Central State on Monday evening. The Pumas could not hang on as Central State took a three point advantage to the locker room at the end of the half, and continued their run into the second. The Pumas shot 35.5 percent from the field on the night and combined to collect 33 total rebounds. Dayvon Sloan led the Pumas with 17 points in 6-for-20 shooting including three three-point buckets. The Saint Joseph’s squad (4-5) will take a lengthy break in action before resuming their conference schedule against Quincy on January 5.  
 
Maryville 69, Missouri Baptist 50 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
ST. LOUIS- The Maryville men’s basketball team hosted local Missouri Baptist for Monday night hoop action. The Saints claimed a 69-50 victory on their home court to improve their record to 6-2 on the year. As a team, Maryville shot 25-for-51 from the field to outlast Missouri Baptist. Asa Toney recorded an impressive 25 points on the night and also added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to round out the evening. Gerald Shaw also hit double figures as he added 18 points for the Saints. The Maryville squad (6-2) will resume their season against Millikin on December 30.
 
Missouri-St. Louis 74, Culver Stockton 48 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
ST. LOUIS- The Missouri St. Louis men’s basketball team hosted Culver Stockton on Monday night. The team shot 25-for-57 (43.9%) to capture a 74-48 win on their home turf. The Tritons had two players reach double figures including Neil Branham who posted 14 points and Aareon Smith who added 11 points on the night. The team effort produced 37 total rebounds and forced 18 turnovers from the Culver Stockton squad. The Tritons (6-3) will return to action on December 30 when they host Robert Morris-Springfield.
 
Loyola-Chicago 69, Rockhurst 46 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
CHICAGO- The Rockhurst squad took on a tough Monday night challenge as they faced off against Division I Loyola-Chicago. The team’s 34.7 shooting percentage was not enough to defeat their opposition. Despite the 23 point loss to the tough Loyola squad, the Hawks posted 46 points and forced 10 turnovers from the Flames. Kareem Amedu put up nine points to lead the Hawks on the night. The Rockhurst squad moves to an even 5-5 on the year and will next face conference opponent and the No. 5 ranked Bellarmine on January 5.  
 
Bellarmine 91, Wheeling Jesuit 78 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
Wheeling, WV- The No. 5 ranked Bellarmine Knights posted impressive numbers in their 91-78 victory over Wheeling Jesuit Monday night. Bellarmine shot an impressive 32-for-52 (61.5%) from the field including 50 percent shooting from behind the arc. The team had five players reach double digits in scoring including Keisten Jones who led the Knights with 29 points. Jones went 9-for-11 from the field including four three-point buckets. He also shot a perfect 7-for-7 at the line and contributed six rebounds. Braydon Hobbs was also key for the Knights as he recorded a double double with 12 assists and 12 points. The Knights move to 9-1 on the year and will resume their conference schedule at home against Rockhurst on January 5.
 
Lewis 90, Trinity Christian 59 - BOX SCORE  | RECAP
 
Romeoville, Ill.- The Lewis Flyers hosted Trinity Christian on Monday night. They were dominant throughout the entire game leading visiting Trinity International by 35 at the half. The Flyers continued their run into the second half, closing out the game 90-59 to earn their seventh win of the season. The Flyers shot an impressive 63 percent from the field including 10-for-19 shooting from behind the arc. Their defensive performance also shined as they forced 23 turnovers from visiting Trinity International. Matt Toth led the team with 20 points on the night. The Flyers (7-2) will host regional opponent Wayne State after the holidays.
