TIFFIN, Ohio- The Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team defeated regional opponent Tiffin University 56-44 on Monday night. Northern Kentucky shot 42 percent from the field to Tiffin’s 28 percent and combined for 33 rebounds and seven steals on the night. Jaimie Hamlet and Casse Mogan led the team with 15 points each while Mogan also collected five rebounds. The Norse improve their record to 6-2 on the year and will take a break for the holidays before hosting regional opponent Ohio Dominican on December 29.

 

 

CINCINNATTI- The Indianapolis women’s basketball team defeated Division I Cincinnatti 50-43 on Monday night to improve their overall record to 7-2. The Greyhounds led by five at the half and returned in the second half to maintain the lead for the remainder of the game. Kristin Turner led the Greyhounds with 13 points. Turner also posted three rebounds, four assists, and two steals to top off the night. As a team, Indianapolis shot 31.4 percent from the field to Cincinnatti’s 30.5 percent. The Indianapolis squad (7-2) will look to continue their 6 game win streak against regional opponent Ferris State on December 30.
