Maryville 82, Robert Morris 64 -BOX SCORE|RECAP
ST. LOUIS-Maryville hosted Robert Morris-Springfield on Wednesday night, dominating 82 to 64 on their home court. The Saints were led by Tyler Waite who posted seventeen points. Asa Toney also shot in double digits added fourteen points to the Saints 18 point victory. Collectively, the Saints shot 33-for-57 from the field and went 6-for-13 from behind the arc. Maryville (5-1) will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana to take on Indiana State University.
ROLLA, Mo.-Missouri S&T hosted Drury for the only conference match-up of Wednesday night. Drury picked up a road win defeating the Miners 88 to 42. Drury had four players reach double digits in shooting in their victory. Brandon Lockhart led the way for the Drury squad as he posted 16 points and six assists on the night. The Panthers posted a combined 41 rebounds and 11 steals in the win. Despite the loss, S&T’s Michael Jackson reached double digits scoring 10 points. Drury (5-3) will head to Texas next to take on Texas A&M Commerce, while the Miners will look for a win against Lynn University in Florida on December 18.
JOLIET, Ill.-The Lewis Flyers were on the road for a game against St. Francis on Wednesday night. The Flyers outscored St. Francis 80-66. Senior guard Chris McClellan had a career high 27 points against the local rival. As a team, Lewis shot 30-for-51 from the field on the night. The Lewis squad (6-2) will host Olivet Nazarene on December 10.
