SPRINGFIELD, Ill.- Illinois Springfield took a 74-55 win over visiting Oakland City in non-league action Thursday night. Alyssa Palmer led the Prairie Stars (4-4) with 16 points on the night, while Carly Goede added 15 off the UIS bench. Megan Bergerud had 14 in the contest, with Elizabeth Kelly adding 11 for the victorious Prairie Stars. Illinois Springfield returns to action Dec. 17, hosting Hannibal-LaGrange.
St. Francis (IL) 69, Lewis 60 - BOX SCORE | RECAP
ROMEOVILLE, Ill.- The Flyers fell to 3-5 on the season with a 69-60 loss to St. Francis. Lewis was led by a game-high 23 points from Labrenthia Murdock, while Madeline Kish added 19 on the night. The Saints committed 24 turnovers on the night while the Flyers gave the ball away 18 times, but St. Francis out-rebounded Lewis 45-27 in the contest en route to the win. Next up for the Flyers is a contest at Central Missouri next Friday night.
