LOUISVILLE - Southern Indiana moved to 7-0 on the season with a 65-62 win over Saint Catharine to open the Fern Valley Classic at Bellarmine Friday evening. The Screaming Eagles were led by Brandon Hogg's game-high 31 points, while Kenyon Smith tallied a double-double with 15 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. USI faces off with Ohio Valley tomorrow evening in classic action.

LOUISVILLE - The host Knights took a 112-58 win over Ohio Valley in game two of the Fern Valley Classic Friday night. Bellarmine (7-1) was led by 2010-11 GLVC Player of the Year Jeremy Kendle's game-high 22 points, while Chris Dowe added 19 points. Keisten Jones scored 18, with Ryan Burton adding 12. Both Jelani Johnson and Corbin Maynard each chipped in 10 for the Knights in the win. Bellarmine plays Saint Catharine to close out the Classic tomorrow night.
