Quincy at Quincy Tournament:  QU Recap
QUINCY-The Quincy squad hosted seven teams at the Quincy Tournament this past weekend. The Hawks also saw several successful performance from their players. Senior Leslie Ganer won the championship match at No. 2 singles, and in doubles the duo of Allison Callahan and Michelle Gass picked up a win in the final of the No. 2 doubles bracket. Aside from these championship victories, Quincy had two places reach the finals of their bracket. Katie Garett reached the final of her No. 5 slot, while Allison Callahan reached the final of the No. 3 singles bracket.
 
Illinois Springfield at Quincy Tournament: UIS Recap
QUINCY-The Illinois Springfield women's tennis team also competed at the Quincy tournament. The Prarie Stars No. 4 singles player Jane Brown reached the final of her respective bracket before falling in the championship match. In doubles, Druvinka Moraes and Jane Brown teamed up to take third place in the No. 1 doubles flight defeating Quincy's No. 1 doubles team.
 
William Jewell at Quincy Tournament:  WJC Recap
QUINCY-The William Jewell women’s tennis team got off to a great start on the first day of play at the Quincy Tournament, failing to drop a single match. The Cardinals landed all four doubles teams in the finals of their respective flights, and advanced all singles entries into the semifinal of the draw. On Saturday, Paula Peters, Jaimie Baker, Chelsea Dinkel, Katy Lehenbaur, Loree Hazelrigg, and Connor Hazelrigg captured the No. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 singles titles respectively. In doubles, Peters and Lehenbauer captured the No. 1 crown,  while junior Carli Bisesi and sophomore Chelsea Dinkel earned the championship at the No. 3 position. Loree and Conner Hazelrigg won the No. 4 dropping only three games in route to their doubles title.

Rockhurst at Washburn Invitational: Full Results| RU Recap
TOPEKA-The Rockhurst women’s tennis team traveled to Topeka, Kansas to compete in the Washburn Invitational. Rockhurst player Alex Schelble won the C bracket, defeating Northwest Missouri State’s Leslee Feldhaus, while Leigh-Anne Fourie placed third in the B draw after winning the consolation bracket. In doubles, the Rockhurst squad had two teams advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
 
Lewis at NIU Invite: Full Results|LU Recap
DEKALB-The Lewis women’s tennis team traveled to DeKalb, Illinois for the NIU Invite hosted by Northern Illinois University where they competed against several Division I programs. Lewis’s Zsofia Kranczicki defeated teammate Zsofia Lanstiak in the final of their respective singles bracket. Lewis player Katie Hargrove also advanced to a championship match in her bracket before falling to Eastern Illinois player Amanda Dibbs. In doubles, Kranczicki and Lanstiak advanced to the championship match but lost to Eastern’s No. 1 team 8-3. The Flyers next match will be Sept. 14 where they will compete in a dual against Robert Morris.
